Teeth whitening?
Hello,

To get teeth ultra-white, the best thing to do is have a chair-side treatment. BriteSmile and Zoom! are the most popular. I had BriteSmile and found it to be very effective. It's a blue light that is shined on teeth for about an hour. They put a peroxcide solution on your teeth that is of a higher concentration than you can get with over-the-counter treatments. They also put a rubber dam over your teeth so it won't get on your gums. I prefer this method to say, Rembrandt trays. Even though the trays are cheaper, they really irritated my gums because you had to keep them on so long, and over an extended period of time.

These chair-side treatments can last up to 3 years, just depending on your eating/drinking habits and your oral hygeiene. The procedure lasts about an hour and you're not going to need touch ups. BriteSmile does offer a bleaching pen and toothpaste that you can use to refresh your smile, but nothing major.

Check out the websites below for more information on professional whitening treatments. I would recommend a free consultation with a cosmetic dentist near you. You can check out dentists in your area, as well. These dentists are rated based on consumer feedback, so at least you know you're getting a nuetral recommendation. Hope this helps.
Reply:see the dentist..........and if you r diabetic..........see the dentist and doctor immediately.
Reply:Crest Whitening Strips work for me. If they are too expensive, buy the generic brand that works just as well. Use them on a consistent basis for positive results. They do work.
Reply:GO TO THE DENTIST AND HE WILL MAKE AN IMPRESSION OF YOUR TEETH. WITH THESE, HE WILL BUILD TRAYS. AN UPPER TRAY AND A LOWER TRAY. THEN YOU BUY THE BLEACH GEL FROM HIM. FOLLOW HIS DIRECTIONS FOR USE.

I BLEACH MINE ABOUT ONCE EVERY TWO WEEKS OR SO. JUST REMEMBER THIS.....THE BLEACH CAN MAKE YOUR TEETH VERY SENSITIVE TO HOT AND COLD. IF YOUR TEETH ARE ALREADY SENSITIVE, YOUR DENTIST CAN GIVE YOU SOME FLUORIDE TO USE IN THE TRAYS THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU INTEND ON BLEACHING THEM.

ANOTHER NOTE -- IF YOU HAVE ANY CAPS, CROWNS, PARTIALS, ETC., THEY WILL NOT BLEACH OUT. THEY WILL REMAIN THE SAME COLOR THAT THEY ARE NOW. (MEANING THAT IF YOU HAVE A FAKE FRONT TOOTH, THEN IT WILL BE DARKER THAN YOUR REAL TEETH WHEN YOU FINISH BLEACHING.)
