Teeth whitening?

Has anyone used Britesmile before? If so, was it worth it, and did you recieve the results promised?

teeth whitening works, but you have to be selective in how you go about it. there are a lot of dentists that claim to have one visit whitening. this basically dehydrates the teeth and makes them appear more frosty, which appears as a whiter shade. the problem is you say great, they're white, you go home, they rehydrate from your saliva, and you just flushed hundreds on almost no difference.





the important thing to do is to make sure you get a take home whitening kit with custom made trays for your teeth. these usually have you wear the trays 2 hours a day for 2 weeks, but the results will be real and actually last. you'll still get that dehydration/rehydration effect, but you have much more control of how much you want to whiten.





the trick is to make your teeth the same white as the whites of your eyes. if they're whiter, they look fake. what you want to do is whiten until they're just slightly whiter than your eyes. that way when they rehydrate they will rebound back to the color of your eyes.

Reply:I have not used that product but I have had my teeth whitened by my dentist and let me tell you, it was not a fun experiance. Yes whiter teeth but full shocks of shooting pain at random times for the rest of the day. Becareful how long you leave that on or you could become very sorry!
