Hi guys I'm just wondering if anyone has tried the AT HOME version for Laser teeth whitening, the price is like a fifth of that of having it done professionally at the dentist but the products claim to have the same effects. The product comes with all the gels you need and the actual laser light attachement, I'm wondering if this is the same strength of the professional laser system. Does anyone know if this is true before I make a costly mistake with little effect at all?
I have had my teeth lasered once before by Britesmile in July of last year and they seem to have discoloured again slightly, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm in the UK too.
I want BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT white Hollywood teeth and if at home laser whitening is good then I will purchase. Any other ideas on how to achieve this wouldn't go amiss either!!!
Thanks!
At Home Laser Teeth Whitening Product Help?
Well, there are lasers and there are LASERS.
Perhaps you'll be just as well off using a laser pointer, because dental lasers are powerful beasties costing megabucks. Their intention is to activate the bleach by releasing H2O2 in a faster and higher fashion than home bleaching. You're not going to get a laser like that thru the mail, not to mention the safety considerations.
In any case, home bleaching has been found in studies to give better and longer-lasting effects than in-surgery bleaching.
Reply:I would not risk it, certainly until I had at least spoken to and seen the results of some one who had used it. I had mine done at the dentist. It was done over a period of two weeks and cost £200.00. for everything. I now have the whiter than white smile, that makes people wear their shades when they look at me.
Reply:The words 'at home' and 'laser' .... DONT belong together!
Do the words..."You'll put your eye out" sound familiar? hahahaha
Reply:Hi
if you go on e bay and search for sunshine smiles there is a guy selling 35% bleaching kits for home use from America takes about a week to get here but very good, follow the instructions carefully though, this stuff is professional strength and will sting ya gums if ya use too much, have tried the professional laser in Thailand with outstanding results but gotta say the home version is not as good could be the strength of the gel though hope this helps

Reply:Firstly, where are you getting this "home laser whitening kit?" It will surely not have a fully functional laser with it, as these cost over 3 thousand pounds. It will probably just have a UV light with it!
Professionally, i doubt it will have the desired affect which you want which is BRIGHT BRIGHT HOLLYWOOD SMILES. These cannot always be achieved by merely bleaching teeth alone. Some people opt for veneers however these do involve cutting sound tooth tissue away in order to make room for the veneers! There is another technique which i employ at my practice and it has kept most of the demanding white obsessed patients happy! and YES it does involve using a 5 Watt DIODE Laser.
my practice website is www.parmardental.co.uk if you have any further questions just drop me a line
if not best of luck getting that hollywood smile
