What OTC tooth whitening products are effective without damaging teeth?

If you've tried them, please write if they worked for you or didn't work. Also, how long do the whitening effects last? Do they make your teeth sensitive - for how long? How often do you need to use them to keep up the look and at the same time not to damage teeth? How much do they sell for?

Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and

are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries but certain precautions have to be taken.I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/ep7yg
Reply:I tried and liked Crest White Strips. You can get them at the grocery store and if you check the Sunday paper, usually find a $5.00 off coupon. They cost about $20, work great, last about four months and don't damage your teeth.

They did make my teeth a little sensitive the first two or three days I used them but it wasn't painful (I'm a pain wimp!) and the sensitivity went away after a few days.
Reply:I have read tooth sensitivity and enamel damage can be a problem. It has to do some thing on the enamel if it is going to penetrate to whiten. Maybe only the more powerful dentist whitening techniques are the problem. I don't know anyone who tried them nor care to, let mother nature take care of them. I think once you start them it may be an ongoing process for the future.
Reply:your better off going to a dentist to get them whitened ...yes it did hurt my teeth! they are very sensitve now
Reply:I suggest taking a look at what other people have said on http://www.teethwhiteningreviews.com
