Teeth whitening?

ok this is the story. i got my teeth bleached (and they did the shittiest job. like seriously my teeth have white and yellow splotches. anyways the question is...can i brush my teeth now? i got it done yesterday. they told me no coffee and no mouth wash. but isnt mouth wash almost like brushing your teeth?

Teeth whitening?
Blotchiness is not an uncommon phenomenon with whitening and is usually temporary. It generally happens because the tooth becomes a bit dehydrated (which is a normal part of the process) and the spots will usually go away once the tooth has been fully rehydrated. You can brush your teeth now, but I would guess that they don%26#039;t want you using a rinse (or coffee, tea, wine, soda, smoking) because the %26quot;pores%26quot; of the teeth have been opened up to remove the stain which has left them open to getting more stain in, if exposed to it. I would give them a call for a follow up if it doesn%26#039;t resolve.

Hope that helps- Good luck.

Reply:You need to contact the dentist who performed the procedure. Not knowing what kind of materials/process he used would make it difficult for anyone to suggest an answer.

The receptionist at the dentist office could probably tell you.
