Teeth Whitening??

I have been considering going to get my teeth professionally whitened.

Has anyone ever gotten this done? Any precautions, or was it just great?

...Thanks!

Teeth Whitening??
I recommend have your teeth professionally bleached at your dental office. I am a certified dental assistant and I bleach patients teeth all the time. At our office we use ZOOM which is an absolutely great product. It takes about an hour and a half and you also get bleaching trays to maintenance at home. The patients I have bleached did say several hours after getting bleached their teeth were very sensitive, but by the next day the sensitivity was gone and well worth it because they had great results. The prize of ZOOM or any other in office bleaching differs in price depending on the area in which your live. I%26#039;m in West Virginia (and yes we do have teeth in WV, lol) and the price is about $400. Also the results are instant.
Reply:I%26#039;ve been using the Crest Whitestrips and they%26#039;ve done a terrific job and you see results in about 2 days! (And it%26#039;s a heck of a lot cheaper!)
Reply:i have been thinkin about this too, but its pretty expensive, thres a thing on sky shopping chanel called hollywood smile thats only £50 and they reckon its the same process they use in dentists, give it a go....
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t recommend spending $100 on getting your teeth whitened. I would recommend going to your local Wal-Mart and purchasing a $32 box off Crest Whitening. I think it works great. And all you have to do is apply a whitening strip for 30 minutes, two times a day, for a week. Guaranteed results after 3 days! :)
Reply:If the Whitestrips caused severe sensitivity, I would reccomend using a high concentration fluoride rinse or gel before having professional whitening done. You can get either one from your dentist. Just tell them that whitening caused sensitivity and you%26#039;re using the fluorisde to help. If you use it for a week before the procedure, you should have little to no sensitivity. Professional whitening is the way to go. Whether you have the Zoom whitening or at-home whitening, you will have better results. It will be well worth the money. Hope this helps :)
