How do I use baking soda and peroxide to whiten teeth, how long before I see results?

My great aunt used to brush her teeth every morning with baking soda and peroxide then rinsed with peroxide and she had really white teeth even as an old lady. It takes 2-4 weeks for results. Be careful not to swallow the peroxide though as it will make you sick. The baking soda is really salty. You might want to know that even though this works for some it does not work for everyone. I had to get trays made at the dentist and they worked wonders.
