i used whitening strips for 5 days and i can%26#039;t tell if there%26#039;s a difference yet. can you tell me if there is? does it look better?

Reply:I do see an improvement, keep it up, also, use Rembrandt Plus toothpaste (expensive...$6.99) but worth it, also rinse with peroxide every few days, but be careful, you don%26#039;t want to kill the good bacteria in your mouth.
Reply:I can tell there is a small difference. May I suggest you add a whitening toothpaste and mouthwash. That may speed up the process.

Here%26#039;s the bad part, when you do this, though you%26#039;re not aware of it, your mind is set to receive the glacially white results you see in the ads. For that kind of treatment you need to see a Dentist who does this well. Too, a high intensity lamp is used, not just a bleaching agent. It%26#039;s expensive. You%26#039;re teeth aren%26#039;t the problem. It%26#039;s the Ph balance in your body chemistry that causes discoloration/yellowing. If the body eats too many foods of a certain type and the acid/alkalinity levels aren%26#039;t balanced it%26#039;ll show up in your teeth. Be patient. Over time even a simple whitening toothpaste does it to an appreciable degree. Even people who do the Dentist thing seem to have transluscent teeth. Reply:A slight difference. I would suggest you try using Simply White instead. But also your problem could be with how you%26#039;re applying it. Even the gel won%26#039;t work if your teeth aren%26#039;t dry. So next time you use the strips, take a towel and wipe your teeth dry so they have something to adhere to. If there%26#039;s spit in the way, the peroxide won%26#039;t work as great.





I used to use Simply White and my teeth looked really good, plus it%26#039;s a LOT cheaper and lasts much longer than the strips.
Reply:I asked this question a few days ago...i used the rembrant 2 hr whitening system and it worked ok but my gums hurt the next day because like a dummy, i put too much gel in the trays (despite friendly warnings not to do that. completely my fault) but a day later i was fine. Also a lot of folx say that crest whitening strips work well. Goodluck! :)
