Teeth Whitening?

If you go to the dentist to get your teeth whitened, afterwards will they be completely white or just a little bit?

Teeth Whitening?
usally u see instant results!

u should totally go for it a perfect smile is awsome and people will notice!
Reply:if you go and have a mold made and get retainer and bleach it doesnt work as good as you think it will...LOL but ya its ok....zoom is really the only thing these days that gets the kinda results people are looking for.....which is glowing blue teeth...LOL
Reply:everyones are different as far as i know...they cant guarantee anything! try the crest whitening strips , made my teeth sensitive for a while, but really did work for me (nowhere near as expensive as the dentist either!)
Reply:Well this depends on the current shade of your teeth. Some times it takes a couple of treatments to get the desired shade. Typically yellow shades are the best to respond.

The pharmacy products are just a gimmick and dont really work. They are more %26quot;lighteners%26quot; most of the time they just lighten surface stain and dont contain a high % of active ingredient to lighten your teeth.
Reply:Bah, the dentist whitening works but its prices and leaves your teeth sensitive and somtimes unevenly white. Before you go and spend $500-$1000+ to get your teeth bright %26quot;blue white%26quot; try Crest Vivid Night White tooth paste. It seriously works. All those other whitening tooth pastes are utter garbage and do nothing. I%26#039;ve been using it for about a week now and my teeth and gleeming white. Everyone keeps complementing them and asking if i had whitening done. I tried the white strips...they%26#039;re allright. Not great, but not bad. Most poeple find that they%26#039;re teeth and gums and very sore for a very long time after though. Didnt happen for me but they barley whitened my teeth. So yeah, try the toothpaste first and then if that doesnt work, get the whitening done, it worked for my sister.
Reply:there is a new technic nowdays for whitening teeth. it is called

bleaching. you sit there. the dentist rubs a gel on your teeth , then treat it with a special light from a lamp for about fifteen minutes. your teeth remain white for a few years afterwards.
