Teeth Whitening, kind of. Tell me if youve tried it or how you think this works...hmm?

I heard a while ago that if you need a quick one day whitening for your teeth or have like, a special event to go to, you can brush on a thin layer of white nail polish right on dry teeth. Then your supposed to wait until they dry until you can touch them with your lips or eat. My question is, has anyone ever even tried this, and how do you get it off of your teeth? Also, does this damage your teeth and would it peel or chip over the day? I was just wondering cause this sounds like a bad idea, and kind of a clever one, haha, what do you think?

That's silly. What you would want to do is get Arm %26amp; Hammer's Whitening Toothpaste. I have noticed my teeth get whiter while using that toothpaste. Also, Colgate's Age-defying kit thing works pretty well too. The only trouble with that is getting the strips to stay on.
Reply:I wouldn't try it. I think it would damage your teeth, and it would also look really wierd. I think people would be able to tell that there's something on your teeth. Plus, I think the polish would come off when you're eating, and you would look really wierd.
Reply:I think it's a disgusting, bad idea. I wouldn't try it. I can barely stand the smell of nail polish as it is. I rather go to the dentist and get them whitened at the office with the gel and the laser.

I have tried the rembrandt whitening gel sold at drugstores. It really works wonders and first started using it when the dentist whitened mine with that brand at the office. I just kept the trays and reuse them anytime I want to whiten them.

I've used the kind you leave painted on your teeth overnight and it doesn't work well at all.

It peels off and tastes horrible.

Use "Crest White Strips" or Whitening Toothpaste.
Reply:no dont try a whitener of any kind even toothpaste thats says helps whiten teeth, because it damages the enamel and takes it off and it can make your teeth really sensitive,

hope i helped

Reply:ew no don't do that.

get it done professionally! i got mine done a few days ago (i just got my braces off) and they look amazing!
Reply:i wouldn't try it. i thinks it's more imortant to try to keep your teeth in good condtion everyday... one day of a false whitening with nail polish is not worth the damage it may cause.my denist perscribed (colgate prevident 5000 plus) you may be able to get it without a perscription but im not sure.as you probably already know coffee's and tea's smokeing ect. will increase the yellowing in your teeth too, haveing your teeth cleaned every 6 months (twice a yr. ) is always healthy , and alot of insurance companys will pay for it. home remidies? well , proxide and bakeing powder are a good one. hope this was helpful.!!!

  1. Right now, it is easier and more convenient than ever to have a dazzling white smile. While there are several options that are offered in a dental office, such as laser treatment, special trays, or other types of whitening treatments, there are also a number of high quality teeth whitening kits that are at the disposal of the common person. Yellow teeth is really bad for us
