Will teeth whitening make enamel erosion look better or worse?

I want to have my teeth done but I have slight erosion on the tips of my front teeth that you can hardly see but I notice it. Will teeth whitening make it look better or worse? What do you think? My teeth are an okay colour but I would like them whiter!

Are you calling erosion the whitish areas on the tips of some teeth or is it areas on your enamel that are chipped away? Erosion is actually a wearing away. Enamel mottling is white spots. Sometimes the teeth will lighten to match the white areas better, but sometimes it makes the white areas whiter. No real way to know unless you try it.

Reply:more noticable. and whitening your teeth too often can result in a blueish tint covering the teeth, and possible gum receeding.
Reply:why don't you leave your teeth in peace, you'll find your body serves you better if you treat it with care. :-)
Reply:My niece has managed to turn her teeth brown through whitening. It erodes the enamel.
Reply:I have that too- i tried whitening and it actually made it look better to some extent- but the whiteness was mainly shown on the edge. Try remineralizing with flouride - it could work better and solve the problem. hope everything works out :)
