Whitening Teeth?

I have yellow teeth. They are really nasty. I want to whiten them but, they never get white. I brush my teeth 2-3 times a day. I floss. I do everything I'm supposed to. I'm 14 years old. I've tried teeth whitening gels and all sorts of things. Does anybody have anything that will work? I hate to look in the mirror and smile... please help me. I need anything that will work.

Other than professional whitening (300$ is not in my budget!)

HELP~

Whitening Teeth?
Very simple and cheap. Mix peroxide and backing soda and brush twice a day. It's not a pleasant taste but it works.
Reply:try rubbing baking soda on your teeth 2 times a week
Reply:use crest whitening strips
Reply:Get the Crest whitening strips they work great. Use then once in the morning and once when you get home from school. Work great!
Reply:Wow, did you just start taking care of your teeth? Use white strips, I don't use Crest, but a generic and they work better than crest did for me. My teeth were off white so I don't know about your results.
Reply:As we get older, teeth have a natural progression to go yellower.

Cosmetic dentistry is now more popular than ever.

Bleaching your teeth is very safe to do, but there are different ways to getting a "whiter" smile.

Your teeth will only whiten to their inherit colour and any fillings that are present will not change due to the material they are made from.

You can purchase the "paint on" from the supermarket but this doesn't stay on your teeth long enough and I find that it's a waste. This can be quite cheap, about $20.

The other option is to see your dentist and ask for "zoom" or laser bleaching. This is very expensive and could cost well over $1200. This takes about 1 hour in office and can make your teeth very very sensitive (I mean for days and days).

The best option I would suggest, is a home bleaching kit. Trays are made from moulds that are taken of your mouth and then a small amount of slow releasing peroxide paste is placed in the trays and inserted into your mouth. This process takes about 1 hour and is done everyday for up to 10 days.

The good thing about this is that is costs aout $300 and you will always have the trays. You can purchase "top up" bleaching syringes if you notice that the shade has dropped back again or if you have a special occasion.

This is how I bleach my teeth and it works but remember not to eat or drink anything for a couple of hours otherwise you are just chasing your tail. Avoid red wine, tea/coffe, tobacco and spicy foods as these will stain your teeth whilst bleaching.

Happy New Year!
Reply:Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and

are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries but certain precautions have to be taken.I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/ep7yg
Reply:You are either lying or not telling the whole story. How can your teeth be so nasty by the age of fourteen if you brush and floss as you say you do? Have you even been to a dentist before? Have you had a dentist office cleaning? Did you take lots of medications when you were younger? What's the deal here?
